Dan is a Fellow of the of Chartered Secretaries Australia (FCIS), a Fellow Professional National Accountant in Australia (FPNA), Member of National Tax & Accountants Association (NTAA), Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators UK (FCIS), a Registered Tax Agent, a Registered Non Profit Organisatiion Auditor, a Registered Co-operative Company Auditor and a Commissioner for Declarations (CD). With over 25 years of experience including local chartered accounting firms, corporate and senior management in Resources, Mining, Manufacturing, Business Process Re-engineering, Process and System Reviews, Feasibility Studies, Procurement, and implementation of gold loans, Dan brings with him a wealth of experience gathered over many years in the business community. His audit and accounting exposure to the statutory reporting requirements under the Corporations Law and the Australian Accounting Standards relating to commercial business operations in the private sector and the requirements of the Finance Administration And Audit Act relating to the public sector have enabled him to develop excellent analytical administrative and communication skills with people at all levels and from all walks of life; including the ethnic community, the handicapped and underprivileged. He has been responsible for Continuing Professional Education & Training of the organization. Preparation of training programs and professional development programs on a regular continuing basis for the accounting practice. He is also a person who can design or approve a structured training program under the Training Guarantee Act. He is a member of the Continuing Professional Education Committee (CPE) for the National Institute of Accountants in Australia - Western Australia branch in which as a member of that committee, training programs and professional development programs for National Institute of Accountants in Western Australia are formulated. Auditing, accounting and operational procedures and assignments, include the procedures over receipting of monies received, payments of goods and services and supplies, control of inventory and fixed assets, stocktake procedures, cash flow and budgetary control, and compliance with statutory requirements. This includes for example the Corporations Law, Australian Accounting Standards and Auditing Standards and various State and Commonwealth statutes and acts.
